A former McDonalds restaurant owner in North Dakota held on to a jug of “McJordan BBQ Sauce” for 20 years and just sold it on ebay for almost $10,000!
The McJordan was a promotional item that was sold in limited markets in the 1990’s for a short time. It was during Michael Jordan‘s championship run with the Chicago Bulls.
Mort Bank, of Bismarck, saved the jug and kept it in his basement after selling his McDonald’s restaurants in 1996.
“It was in my basement and I would look at it occasionally,” he told The Bismarck Tribune. “I thought it would be worth something someday.”
