Reports indicate that the Brooklyn Nets have been in talks with the Orlando Magic about a trade involving Dwight Howard. These talks are rapidly gaining steam over the previous strongest contender the Los Angeles Lakers to land the All-Star center.
Andrew Bynum’s reluctance to sign a long term deal in Orlando could botch the deal. The fact that LA sent their 2013 and 2015 first-round draft picks to the Phoenix Suns in the Steve Nash deal means that they can’t offer them their 2014 or 2016 first-round picks.
The depth of the Howard deal is said to include 14 players across three teams.Orlando would receive a re-signed Brook Lopez. Kris Humpries could be involved in the trade and is seeking a four-year deal
