One question is answered in the bizarre story of Manti Te’o's fake girlfriend who passed away from leukemia in September. The woman who’s photo was used as the “face” of the Twitter account has spoken out.
Diane O’Meara told NBC’s “Today” show that the photos of her were used without her knowing, and she had nothing to do with creating the fake woman called Lennay Kekua. The man she said is behind the hoax is Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, whom she says has been stalking her Facebook page for years, stealing her photos.
We have still yet to hear from the accused Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, however; his family has said they may be making a statement this week.
