The report everyone has been waiting for this week is finally here! Former FBI director Louis Freeh‘s investigative report of Penn State University was released on Thursday.

The report blames legendary football coach Joe Paterno and other school officials for their failure to alert police about Jerry Sandusky’s child sex abuse.

The end conclusion of Freeh’s eight month investigation into how exactly the situation was handled at Penn State blasts the most powerful leaders at the school for not notifying the authorities, which allowed the abuse to continue.

Freeh said that Paterno and others involved showed “total disregard for the safety and welfare of Sandusky’s child victims.”
