Less playing poker, more training in the gym! Georges St. Pierre is finally back in the gym full-time preparing for his championship bout against interim welterweight belt holder Carlos Condit at UFC 154 in November.
“I’m back in Montreal and full-time training! Already tried a few kicks – right knee is super strong…,” St-Pierre wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
After tearing the ACL in his right knee last year and undergoing surgery to repair it, Georges St.Pierre has undergone an extensive rehabilitation process.
Montreal UFC fans are being rewarded by having their icon fight at home again after being snubbed last December when UFC 140 shifted over a province, returning to Toronto.
Should St. Pierre return to face Condit in November as expected, Kampmann and Hendricks will likely be on the supporting card, setting up the next immediate contender for the winner.
