Two big welterweight match-ups are in the works for UFC 154 in Montreal. Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre is set to make his return from knee surgery against interim champion Carlos Condit. Also a possible co-main event fight between Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann was announced.
Dana White made the announcements following “UFC on FX 3” Friday night.
Georges St. Pierre has not since since his UFC 129 main event fight against Jake Shields over a year ago. Georges St. Pierre is still recovering from his ACL injury which required surgery. Should St. Pierre be unable to return from his injury come the November event
UFC 154 is set for Montreal Quebec and though not yet official, is set for November 17th at the Bell Centre.
