Georges St. Pierre‘s number one mission in MMA is to be the best.

After returning from vacation following his UFC 154 victory over interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit, Georges St. Pierre has decided against taking the proposed ‘super-fight’ against Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva, and instead chosen to resurrect some unfinished business with Nick Diaz.

As you will remember, GSP was slated to face Nick Diaz before succumbing to his initial knee injury.

Dana White told reporters Thursday:

“We were talking about Anderson Silva, St-Pierre said ‘I want Nick Diaz. Me and Nick Diaz have unfinished business. We were supposed to fight. That’s the fight that I want.’

“Georges St-Pierre has been a phenomenal champion, a phenomenal human being, just a great guy to deal with for us. And he doesn’t ask for things. So if he wants to fight Nick Diaz and Nick Diaz wants to fight him, then that’s probably the fight we’ll make.”

Reportedly the fight could take place in Toronto’s Rogers Centre which hosted over 55,000 fans!
