In a blockbuster move shortly after James Harden refused Oklahoma’s latest offer, reports have been trending that James Harden has been traded to the Houston Rockets for the following in return; Kevin Martin, rookie Jeremy Lamb, two first-round picks and a second-round pick. As part of the deal the Thunder is also giving center Cole Aldrich, guards Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward to the Rockets. In retrospect this deal makes sense as time frame would have not been sufficient enough for James Harden’s agent and Oklahoma Thunder General Manager Sam Presti to come to an agreement on James’ contract extension, before the October 31st deadline. This story has begun trending with more details surrounding this deal to come.
