UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones will avoid receiving jail time after being arrested for driving under the influence when he crashed his 2012 Bentley on May 19 in New York.
Rather than jail time, Jones received a $1,000 fine by a judge in Binghamton, New York and had his driver’s license suspended for six months. In addition, he must complete a victim-impact panel and have ignition interlocks installed on all his vehicles.
Jon Jones has expressed his thanks to the county and fans for their support and is eager to put the incident behind him.
