The Los Angeles Angels are apparently the highest bidder in the Josh Hamilton sweepstakes, paying a whopping $125 million dollar 5 year contract. This will add to an already pricey pay roll for the Angels who signed Albert Pujols last year. I guess the Los Angles Angels are trying to compete with the bats the Dodgers have on their roster.
$25 Million is a lot of money for a guy who can’t play during the day. Hamilton is known for being a poor performer in day games because he has issue seeing the ball. Hopefully it was a wise investment but these sports contracts are becoming insane! Congratulations to the Los Angeles Angels for being this years suckers…
