BASKETBALL — 11 February 2015

The Cleveland Cavaliers are beginning to look like the team that many of us thought they would as they’ve gone 13-1 over their last 14 games. Yet, despite their team finally moulding together on the court, it seems  as two of their biggest stars are not off. Lebron James recently sent out a Tweet that was clearly meant towards Kevin Love as he stated the following:

Stop trying to find a way to FIT-OUT and just FIT-IN. Be apart of something special! Just my thoughts

Kevin Love had made a statement earlier in the season in regards to the adjustments he was making to being on his new team, where he used similar phrasing. When asked to comment on the Tweet, Lebron James seemed to have mixed thoughts. Originally Lebron James stated the Tweet was not meant towards anyone and later told reporters that “it was no coincidence.” When asked to clarify his comments regarding the Tweet, Lebron James didn’t feel the need to. Lebron James followed by stating “I’m not sugarcoating or hiding behind it,” he said “I gotta see him every day, so if I have something to say to him, I’ll say it to his face. The rest of the guys, too.

Kevin Love commented “I was caught off-guard when I heard about it,” and that “I truly feel if LeBron had a problem with me or needed to talk to me for good or for worse, he would have come up and talked to me.” This seems to be an odd incident as the Cleveland Cavaliers have seemingly turned their season around. It will be interesting to see how the team comes together after the NBA All-Star break. The Cleveland Cavaliers are interested in acquiring free agent, Ray Allen which could shake things up once again. It will be interesting to watch as this all unfolds over the weeks to come.
