Both Mike Miller was extremely quick to shut-down talks of him retiring from the NBA following his impressive performance in Game 5 of the NBA Finals Thursday night.
Miller was clearly in agonizing pain, between possessions it was evident he was pained from his back. You could see it in his walk also, if you’ve ever injured your back you know the walk I’m talking about. The only time Miller wasn’t evidently suffering in pain was when the clock was ticking or the ball was in his possession.
The only time you couldn’t see a glimpse of pain was when he raised the ball to shoot. Mike Miller was on fire draining 7-8 from long range and scoring twenty-three points in twenty-three minutes off the Miami Heat bench.
