Storylines: In a week plagued by quarterback injuries galore, there is this common belief that this week of football is tainted in some way; rather, instead it makes for one of the most interesting weeks of football in a very long time:
One of the greatest rivalries in football takes center stage on Sunday night; the Pittsburgh Steelers without their leader Ben Roethlisberger, and the Baltimore Ravens without their leader Ray Lewis. Which team will prevail when the immovable object meets the irresistible force?
Will Payton Manning recreate the same magic he and his Denver Broncos materialized on Monday Night Football in week 6 against the hapless San Diego Chargers ?
How will the Jay Cutler-less Chicago Bears offense fare against the San Francisco 49ers defence?
What defines a team more than a win, is how they respond the week following a loss. The Atlanta Falcons lost their first game of the season last week, how will they respond against the Arizona Cardinals?
The New York Jets, a team in complete collapse makes the visit to St.Louis to play a very motivated St.Louis Rams team, following their best performance of the year. The New York Jets are currently marred in controversy following comments made against their own teammate Tim Tebow, one has to wonder if this will be the week the game that Tim will prove all critics wrong which includes his own teammates? Perhaps a better question, is Mark Sanchez really the right quarterback to lead his team?
After a spirited performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Kansas City Chief accomplished more in one game than they have this entire season. Will that performance be the turning point in they need as they host the Cincinnati Bengals ?
One of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game meets another quarterback destined to be an all-time great. Standout rookie Andrew Luck facing Tom Brady, is enough to make the Indianpolis Colts vs. the New England Patriots a legendary one!
NFL Week 11 Score Predictions (Prediction Record last week: 9 – 5 )
* notes bold prediction of the week
Cardinals vs. Falcons – Atlanta losing their first game will work to their advantage, as they no longer have the pressure of a perfect season.
Buccaneers vs. Panthers – Tampa Bay will likely produce way too much offense for the Panthers defense to handle.
Browns vs. Cowboys – For what it’s worth, the Cleveland Browns will make this game competitive, but Dallas has too many weapons.
Packers vs Lions – The last thing Detroit needs is to face Aaron Rodgers.
Jaguars vs. Texans – Well for what it’s worth, at least Jacksonville has a bye week coming up… or not.
* Bengals vs Chiefs – This is my boldest prediction yet, I believe Kansas City is going to feed off of their performance against the Steelers.
Jets vs. Rams – Rex Ryan and the Jets are without question, the most disfunctional family in the NFL. But I believe that if this prediction could go the other way if Tim Tebow starts.
Eagles vs Redskins – Don’t let Washington’s record fool you, this team lead by RG III is still very dangerous.
Saints vs. Raiders – When you have Drew Brees on your team, you always have a chance.
Chargers vs. Broncos – My reason for this pick; if a team loses after holding a 24 point at home, I don’t see them winning away against Payton Manning.
Colts vs Patriots – If you like offense, then you will enjoy this game. In the end, experience will be the deciding factor which favors Tom Brady.
Ravens vs. Steelers – No question, this game will be a WAR. Even without Ben, the Steelers are almost impossible to beat at home.
Bears vs. 49ers – Even without Jay Cutler to lead the offense, the Bears defense is the best at causing turnovers, and turning them into points.
