Nike released a statement informing us they will now longer have Lance Armstrong representing the Nike brand.

Due to the seemingly insurmountable evidence that Lance Armstrong participated in doping and misled Nike for more than a decade, it is with great sadness that we have terminated our contract with him. Nike does not condone the use of illegal performance enhancing drugs in any manner. Nike plans to continue support of the Livestrong initiatives created to unite, inspire and empower people affected by cancer.

It’s difficult to look at Armstrong as innocent when the facts keep piling up. Not everyone has something to gain by throwing him under the bus. Things just seem to be spiraling out of control for Lance Armstrong. On Sunday, Armstrong’s lawyer came out and said it is possible that Lance will take a lie detector test to prove his innocence.
