The remaining names of the 2012 inductee’s into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame were announced Monday in New Orleans, the site of the Final Four NCAA March Madness Tournament.
At the top of the list was five-time all-star Reggie Miller and the NBA’s all-time most winning coach coach, Don Nelson.
Other inductees include two-time Olympic gold medalist Katrina McClain, three-time college player of the year Ralph Sampson, referee Hank Nichols, four-time champion Jamaal Wilkes and the All-American Red Heads, the female version of the Harlem Globetrotters.
There were five members of this year’s class that had previously been announced. Nike co-founder Phil Knight, ABA star Mel Daniels, seven-time NBA All-Star Chet Walker, and Olympian’s Don Barksdale and Lydija Alexeeva.
The ceremony for their induction will be held on September 7, 2012 at the Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.
