In an act of generosity by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell yesterday, two of Saints player involved in the Bounty controversy had their suspensions reduced. Linebacker Scott Fujita had his suspension reduced from three games to just one, and Defensive End Anthony Hargrove’s eight games suspension had been reduced to seven games. In the case of both Jonathan Vilma and Will Smith, both of their suspensions will be remain the same. One can speculate part of the reason for their suspensions being upheld, is because both men (especially in the case of Jonathan Vilma) have been very vocal about their disapproval of Roger Goodell’s decisions in this whole ordeal; Jonathan has made quite the political movement against Roger Goodell since being suspended back in May.
