Canadian UFC fighter Rory MacDonald had a dominant unanimous decision victory over BJ Penn at UFC on FOX 5 on Saturday December 8th. Following his win, MacDonald called out Condit, requesting a rematch of their UFC 115 fight.

Rory MacDonald has as 14-1 record, his only loss is to Carlos Condit. Condit told Ariel Helwani on UFC Tonight, “I’m in”.

Helwani said that Condit agrees the fight makes sense and that fans will enjoy it.

Condit’s manager Malki Kawa told MMAWeekly that “Carlos Condit doesn’t back down from any man. If the UFC asks us to fight Rory MacDonald, Carlos will take the fight.”

The fight has been targeted to take place at UFC 158 in Montreal, where MacDonald trains with Georges St. Pierre at Tristar. UFC 158 Montreal tickets have not yet gone on sale to the general public.

Rory MacDonald has got Georges St. Pierre in his corner and helping him train. A few more victories for MacDonald and he may not be able to avoid fighting the Champion St. Pierre.
