For a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, the worst sight to see is watching the heart and soul of the franchise get seriously injured.
In the 3rd quarter of the game against the Kansas City Chiefs Monday, Ben Roethlisberger was injured after being hit from Chiefs pass rushers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali . It was later reported that Ben rushed to the local hospital to undergo an MRI on his shoulder.
There has been no report on his status at this time.
What can be said at this point is that Ben’s status for Sunday’s game against their division rivals the Baltimore Ravens is still a mystery. His absence from this game or any other game can change the playoff landscape in the AFC, and perhaps compromise their playoff chances if Ben is out for the remainder of the year.
As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, one would question if their gruelling 16 – 13 overtime win against the Chiefs could be the game that will decide their fate from this point onwards…?
