BASKETBALL — 28 February 2013

Showing his talent to say the least, Stephen Curry put on a show in front of those at Madison Square Gardens last night. Curry dialed in for 54 points for the Golden State Warriors who were without David Lee (suspended for 1 game) in a losing effort. I always felt Curry was an undersized player who’s talent has always allowed him to play with the big boys. I wasn’t sure at first if he was going to develop into the player we are seeing today, but he has certainly proved me wrong. Scoring 50+ points in the NBA is no joke. However, one player comes to mind when you talk about putting up points then disappearing off the planet… That man would be Charlie Villanueva. One game he put up 48 Points and 18 boards in one game, now those sound like his yearly numbers.

With that being said, I am confident Stephen Curry is no Charlie Villanueva… This kid will only get better.
