FOOTBALL — 09 September 2014

Thats right folks, the Buffalo Bills are staying in Buffalo!

Buffalo Sabres owner, Terry Pegula has reached an agreement to purchase the Buffalo Bills franchise earlier today. The deal is in the process of finalizing as they wait for the NFL‘s approval. This shouldn’t be an issue though as the NFL tweeted the following earlier today.

Details of the agreement have yet to be disclosed but previous franchise sales of the Miami Dolphins (2009) and Cleveland Browns (2012) were both over $1 billion. The franchise has been up for sale since March 2014 after the passing of long time owner, Ralph Wilson. The franchise has seen many high profile suiters such as Donald Trump and on Bon Jovi but the NFL has been persistent that the new owner keep the team in Buffalo.
