These are one those stories that no matter who you are, it’s never pleasant to read. Early this morning at 7:50am , Kansas City Chiefs Jovan Belcher, shot and killed his girlfriend; then he proceed to drive to Arrowhead Stadium where he committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager. According to reports from police spokesman Darin Snapp , the young man thanked both Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel and general manager Scott Pioli for everything they did for him, before turning the gun on itself. According to both Crennel and Pioli, the young Chiefs player was walking in the opposite direction when they heard the gunshot. At this point the investigation into this tragedy is ongoing. The question perhaps may are wondering is how will the Chiefs organization as a whole respond to this tragedy? Will they be capable of finishing a season that has been less than pleasant, and bring them closer together, or will this incident represent the breaking point of this franchise?
