Up until today, many people were not aware that Louisiana-Monroe existed as a University, let alone the existence of a College football. Today all of America is taking notice of this University after their 34-31 overtime victory against the Number 8 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. To give you an idea how big an upset this was, Louisiana-Monroe came into this game at 30 point underdogs; in other words the expectation was a resounding win for Arkansas. But as we learned earlier today after Oregon State upset Wisconsin, on any given Saturday and College team can be beaten. As of now the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks have become the most talked about team in sports. The greatest example of their new found fame can be seen on Twitter, where they have been trending; everyone is buzzing about this small University of 8408 students, that accomplished a very large feat and has become the darlings of the sports world; this will be a game that we will all be talking about for a long time.
